Shawnee Smith (born July 3 1970, 5 feet tall' 3 is an American TV and film actress and musician. Smith is perhaps most well-known as Amanda Young, in the Saw film series as well as Linda Becker in CBS's comedy show Becker. Smith fronted FydollaHo, a metal band that toured across both in the United States of America and Great Britain. Smith and Missi Pyle form the half of Smith & Pyle a Desert Country-Rock band. Shawnee Smith, the second daughter of Patricia Smith, an oncology nurse and Jim Smith former US Air Force pilot and financial planner, was born in Orangeburg South Carolina. When she was a young girl she emigrated with her family to South Carolina (now Van Nuys) to California. At the age of two her parents got divorced, and when she was eight, her mother was married yet again. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Elemntary School in Panorama City Los Angeles. Madison Jr. High was in North Hollywood. Later, she went to North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood California and graduated in 1987. The same year, she was also featured in her own solo tour What Am I Going to Do now? This included a seven-day residency in the venue Just For Laughs.
